Mera peak is one of the popular mountains in Everest region. Mera peak altitude is 6461 meters above sea level. Mera Peak top offers spectacular view of Himalayan ranges with five 8,000m peaks visible which includes Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kangchenjunga with other 7000 meters peaks located in Everest region. The standard route from the north involves high altitude glacier walking. This mountain climbing is popular among many expedition seekers in Nepal. Basic expedition knowledge or anybody physically fit can enjoy the expedition with proper arrangements. The elevation and weather are the biggest challenge for successful ascent. However the peak climbing route is not technical compare to other trekkers’ peak in Nepal.
Mera peak climbing begins after flying from Kathmandu to Lukla and with trek to the base of Mera with-in 8 days. Once reach at base camp at Mera area, the expedition begins.
Mera is not a technical peak however require Physical fitness with sheer interest on adventure and mountaineering. We organize this peak climbing assisted by professional climbing guide with all safety equipment.

Day 01: Upon arrival at Kathmandu, assistance and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel
Day 02: Enjoy sightseeing tour in Kathmandu covering 3 UNESCO Heritage Sites. We will do briefing in the evening at your hotel.

Day 03: Morning transfer to Kathmandu airport to fly to Lukla (2730m/8954ft). Lunch, Dinner & Overnight at Local Lodge
Day 04: Trek to Chutanga (3,430 m/3-4 hours walk).

Day 05: Trek to Thuli Kharka (4320m) crossing Zwatra la pass (4600 m). Total walking 6 hours.

Day 06: Trek to Kothe (3600 m/6 hours walk).

Day 07: Trek from Kothe to Thaknak (4,350m/4 hours walk).

Day 08: Trek from Thaknak to Khare (5,045m/2-3 hours walk).

Day 09: Full day acclimatization and checking/training on climbing gears.

Day 10: Climb from Khare to Mera Base Camp (5300m/4 hours walk).

Day 11: Climb from Mera Base Camp to High camp (5,780m/5 hours walk).

Day 12: Climb from Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m/21,1907ft). Spend time on the top so that you can enjoy this amazing experience scaling the mountain that was challenging you earlier. The view from top is splendid which includes Everest, Nuptse, Makalu, Lhotse, Kanchanjunga, Cho-Oye and many other peaks. Descend down to Khare (5045m).

Day 14: Trek Khare to Kothe (3600m/4-5 hours walk).

Day 17: Morning fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy farewell dinner at Local Restaurant with Cultural dances to celebrate this success you achieved.
Day 18: Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport in time to board your flight back home.
