Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive into Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. We'll begin with a welcome drink, do some introductions and have a simple orientation about your tour program. Everyone will be assigned their room. Accommodation: Metro Inn

Day 2
Kathmandu Drive To Chitwan National Park

We will depart and start our trip to Chitwan. This will take us approximately 6 hours. Upon arrival

in Chitwan there will be a short briefing on the program and facilities. After check in and lunch in the hotel we will start our program in Chitwan with an Elephant-back safari into the Chitwan National Park: Guests will ride on an elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife. With some luck you will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, and leopard and, if you are very lucky you might even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. After this impressive safari we will head back to our hotel in Chitwan where another tasty Nepalese dinner is served.

Day 3
Chitwan National Park

After breakfast we will proceed for a Dugout canoe trip inside the National Park.

Day 4
Chitwan drive to Lumbini (6 Hrs): Evening Guided Sightseeing Tour of Lumbini

On this day after having breakfast we drive to Lumbini, which is 5 hours long drive. The drive is scenic in the mid hill region’s landscape with river, farm, various small villages and settlements & low land of Terai. After arriving Lumbini, we check into a hotel and relax at the hotel. Lumbini is a birthplace of Lord Buddha where you can see the preserved ancient things like Broken Ashoka Pillar, Maya Devi temple, remnants of old monastery, etc.

Day 5
Lumbini Drive To Pokhara

We take breakfast early in the morning and begin our day by driving to Palpa Tansen, which is situated, on the slopes of a hill called Shreenagar Danda. Palpa Tansen is probably the only place in a country from where we can have the most far stretching view like Dhaulagiri in the west, and Gauri Shankhar in the Northeast After the brief tour of Palpa we continue we drive towards Pokhara. When we arrive in Pokhara we are welcomed by a hotel representative and check in at hotel. Pokhara is one of the major tourist places of Nepal and famous for picturesque natural attractions for the tourists. It is called as a Switzerland of Nepal. Pokhara is a beautiful town, with panoramic views of Annapurna, Machapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. Pokhara is considerably less hectic than Kathmandu with clean and peaceful environment. Pokhara is gateway of Annapurna Region trek. Overnight in hotel in Pokhara.

Day 6
Guided tour of Pokhara Valley

Places to visit: Early morning drive to Sarangkot for Sunrise Barahi Temple. and afternoon guided tour of Museum, Davi’s fall, Gupteshwor Cave and World Peace Stupa

Day 7
Pokhara Drive Back To Kathmandu

On this day we take a breakfast early in the morning and we will drive back to Kathmandu with the scenic 6-7 hrs. Today drive is scenic in the mid hill region’s landscape with river, farm, various villages and settlements. This scenic drives offers you magnificent view of the Himalayan peaks of the west including Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Lamjung and Annapurna. When we arrive in Kathmandu the bus will drop us at the hotel. Check into a hotel we get some refreshments and take a rest of the time free.

Day 8
Guided Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu Valley

Places to visit: Swayambhunath Stupa ,Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square & Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Day 9
Kathmandu – Rasuwa Gadi – Kyiorng (2790 m) 157 km 8 – 9 hrs

Early morning drive to Rasuwa gadi, drive will take about 6 to 7 hour. Drives offer view of

terraced fields, river and rustic villages of Nepal before we enter Langtang National Park Area. From there further 1 hour drive to Rasuwagadi through narrow and zig zag road. After immigration formality of Nepal we take short drive and walk through the bridge before we do entry formality of Tibet where you will meet guide from Tibet side. After entry formality drive about 24 km around 1 drive to Kyirong where we end the journey of the day. O/N Hotel (BB)

Day 10
Kyirong – Shegar (4300 m) 323 km, 8 – 9 hrs

Early morning after breakfast drive about 8 -9 hrs hrs to reach New Tingri (Shegar). Drive offer

beautiful view of Mountain, Lake and small village of Tibet. On the way to Shegar we may catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Everest and other peaks over 8000m such as Mt. Shisapangma, Mt. Cho Oyu. Today, the difference in landscape is quite special-the barren rugged landscape of Tibet to the mighty Himalayas. O/N Guest House (BB)

Day 11
Shegar – Shigatse (3900m) 235 km 4/5 hrs

Today we drive 265 km which takes about 4/5 hrs to reach Shigatse. We will take lunch in Lhatse which is about 150 km away. Then after a few hours drive along beautiful rivers we finally reach our destination Shigatse the place of the famous Tashilumpo Monastery, the seat of Panachen Lama. O/N Hotel (BB)

Day 12
Drive to Gyantse, visit Khumbum Monastery and Pelkhor Chode (3950m) 90 km - 2 hrs

After visiting Tashilumpo Monastry in the morning including the Market of Shigatse drive to

Gyantse, which is 2 hrs. Gyantse is small busting town steeped in history. It lies 265km southwest of Lhasa on the northern bank of Nyang chu river. In the 15th century it served as the capital of a small kingdom. Here in Gyantse you visit Khumbum Chorten which was built around 1400 AD. It later became the main center for trade with British India. We then visit Pelkhor Chode. O/N Hotel (BB)

Day 13
Drive to Lhasa: 3600m 265 km - 5 hrs

Approx. 5 hrs drives takes you to Lhasa crossing the Karo La Pass (5100m/16728ft) climbs between two lofty mountains, Nozing Khang Sa (7223m) and Ralung (6236m). While driving you will see the Yamdrok Tso(Turquoise Lake) you drive along the Turqoise lake and later Kyicho river flowing through inner part Lhasa. Now, the great Potala Palace of Dalai Lama will be visible. O/N Hotel (BB)

Day 14
Lhasa (3600m) – Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple and Bakhor Market

This morning we visit the Potala Palace, winter palace of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, It is a 13th storied complex monument rising to a height of above 117m which houses 10,000 shrines and over 200,000 images and about 1000 rooms. In the afternoon we will take a tour of Jokhang Temple. Jokhang a seventh-century geomantic temple at the heart of Lhasa is the most sacred

temple of all Tibet. It is considered to be a Power Place in all Tibet. Later you can walk and shop in the popular Bakhor Square (Bazaar) where Tibetan handicraft items, Buddhist artifacts, carpets, paintings etc. are all in sale for your delight. O/N Hotel (BB)

Day 15
Lhasa (3600m) – Sera Monastery - Drepung Monastery

This morning we will drive 8km northwest of Lhasa to visit Drepung Monastery. It was the residence of the Third, Fourth and the Fifth Dalai Lamas. This winter Palace was the resident of hundreds of monks from all the major Geluk monasteries for staffing individual Chapels. The 20,000 sq m complex has survived unscathed even during the Cultural Revolution. In the afternoon we will drive 5km away from Lhasa to Sera Monastery founded in 1419. It sits in the prettiest and most charming atmosphere at the base of Mount Purbuchok. Sera Monastery used to be an important center for learning where 5,000 to 6,000 monks resided. The most intriguing feature here is the nine-meter image of the Monastery; here one can also witness the practicing debate among the monks, who pitch their knowledge against each other.. Day 16
Fly back to Kathmandu 90 km – 1 hr. 15 min

In the morning after breakfast, you'll be transfer to airport by our representative. You will enjoy the view of Yalung Tsangpo River (Bramaputra River, Lake Yamdrok, Mt. Kanchanjunga (8586m) & Mt. Makalu (8463m) & Mt. Everest (8848m) during your flight

Day 17
Fly back to Home

The journey has come to an end today! There is nothing to do but we just trade emails to travel companions and organize our photos. If we have more time we can do some shopping or sightseeing. A representative from LFT will drop us off at the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight. On our way to home, we will have plenty of time to plan our next adventure trip in the wonderful country of Nepal.
